The realm of sanity

Blood under my fingers, it’s not yours and neither mine
Calls of crows, your smile, your laugh
I said goodbye too many times in my head
Blacked out, falling, let me sleep just a little bit longer
“Hey, bartender, fill me another one”.

There used to be one, now there are two
They are all around, blinking with their eyes curiously at me
Do you remember what I used to be?

The more I breathe, the farther away I slip from
The realm of sanity.
